Southpaw Acres is the home of the Mariannino family and all of our animals. We both grew up on farms and have a love of animals. As a result, we have a small working farm with chickens, Pilgrim geese, Sicilian Miniature donkeys, Nigerian Dwarf goats, and Black Angus cattle. Life is always busy around our house but so rewarding.
For us, it is essential that we create a path towards a more self-reliant, secure, and freeing lifestyle. Farming allows us to grow our own fruits, vegetables, flowers, herbs, and meats. Growing our own food allows us to have superior products while saving money. It is important to plan and prepare for events that may cause disruption to our everyday lives.
We have varying hobbies aside from the farm. Sewing, fabric, and embroidery are passions of mine. My grandmother instilled this love when I was young and it continues today. Michael loves vehicles. We love to spend our spare time looking for antiques and collectibles, unique things at yard sales, and gathering with our families.
